ive been wanting to buy a hair straightener and ive finally narrowed down my choices. I wanted a GHD but my mom refuses to pay almost $300 for a hair straightener. So now im between a Sedu or Solial. Ive heard great reviews on both and cant decide. They seem better than the CHI, but are they really?

Sedu is better 'cause it's bigger it get's the job done wayyy faster trust me!

I don't think they can be better than the CHI, I use one and omg I don't know how I lived without it. But I must admit I am not familiar with the Solia or Sedu.

Another plus is that there are actual stores that sell CHIs so you don't have to buy them online (although I recommend buying it online, I saved $100 on eBay).

There's even a special pink CHI if you're really wanting that color. It's only a limited edition thing and I believe they only sell it during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

My CHI works well on my frizzy hair.

Also I've heard from a lot of people (many of them being hairstylists) that 1 inch ceramic plates are better than the thicker ones, so it does make a difference. 1" is soo much easier to work with.

i would absolutely buy a CHI if your looking for a good straightener, i paid a lot for mine..around $170 because i bought it through a hairdresser. But it is still working and me and my mom both use it daily. It heats up super fast and is the perfect size. Plus there is not 700 dials on it for heat settings which we don't really need to mess with because as long as the heat wont severely damage your hair then we want it the hottest so it goes faster. This just has an on and off switch.

I honestly have not used the other straighteners so i am not sure about them but i do know the CHI works well.

All of my friends own one as well.

i do believe there are cheaper forms of the CHI available but its best to get the one that will last longest

My friend has the pink solia one, and i have to say it SUCKS! It doesn't make your hair straight, and my old $30 conair one worked MUCH better..

I have a chi now, and i looove it. You can get them really cheap here. this is where i got mine.

defenitly conair i have the worlds frizziest hair and it works miricals its the only one that works and ive tried i swear to god every one give my answer a chance!!!!!!!! :)
