I have really poofy hair. if i bought a hair straightener and straightend it, will it become flat.

It depends on how thick your hair is, my sister's hair is extremely poofy and she has the thickest hair ever! It takes her a long time to straighten her hair, and its not that long either, What she does is separate sections of her hair and then pull part of it back with a clip, and then starts to straighten one part at a time. But be careful some straighteners can fry your hair and make it even more poofy. Try to get a protective one, but I'll tell you in advance they can be more expensive.

It will, for a few hours. Since you're a guy, I recommend going to a salon to get it professionally straightened because you won't have to iron it everyday.

it wont become flat just straight, there are plenty of products on the market to sort this out for you rather than using straighteners which will damage your hair speak with your hairdresser.

but there thing you can put in your hair to help the iron straighten

btw when hair is straight you lose most of poof

but find a iron that takes care of frizz as well *** straighten

your hair will always become puffy again after you straighten it but my cousin bought an expencive one (about $100) and her hair was straight for like about 1 week or more and i have the cheap one ($15) and my hair will be straight for like 5 or 4 days o and if you have short hair like about to your ears then it will probably stay straight for a longer time. If your hair gets puffy again you can always straighten it again i mean you are not going to buy one and only use it 1 time.
