ISO or CHI straightener?!?

I'm planning to buy a new hair straightener and i want to know which one is better, ISO or CHI, online ISO is about $260 but i know a place who will give me a deal for $99. I've heard great things about CHI straighteners but I'm stuck and I dont know which one to buy...COME ON GIRLS!! give me an opinion! thanks for your help in advance! :)

hun I feel your confusion. I had the same problem last year. anyways, everyone said that the chi was the best and at first I believed them but then I was like oh what the heck and bought the ISO. I havent had a problem yet. it makes your hair shiny, and I like the temperature control for days when hair is really kinky. but yeah I am very happy with it. I'm sure all the other people will say the chi is better but I have heard many bad stories about them and would stay safe with the ISO.

I've used my CHI straightener for the past 4 or 5 years and it still works really really well. I love it.

I haven't used an ISO but if it's just as good and you can get a nice deal like that, I'd say go for it.

CHI is way better. Some of the irons are great straighteners and can double as curling irons.Way to save money and space! I don't personally like ISO. Also get a ceramic iron. They don't damage your hair.

Definitely go with CHI. Plain and simple, it's a beautician's BEST bet. It can make natural African hair look like it was Japanese straightened! And it also gives great sheen and movement. Try it, you'll love it. Take care of hair! :)

I have a corioliss, I have never had an ISO so i am not sure but the chi is only ceramic plated so it is not as good as my corioliss that is purely ceramic, and you cannot curl your hair with a chi. But know your stuff and do some research before you spend 300 dollars on a ceramic something something thinking it is great and then read the owners manual and find out it is only ceramic plated and is frying your hair, so outta those 2 I would probobly choose rhe ISO

if you are talking flat iron... Chi is the best, the best advice is too always...always use a thermal protecter on your hair before using a flat iron... test it first to see how your hair is going to react as hair with color on it or recent chemicals can affect your result. Chemical straighters are very very hard on hair and after awhile, your hair starts growing out, leaving the bottom straight and the top growing out curly again causing a funny look. if your flat iron has temp setting test the diff temps, do not just put it on the highest temp.. Hope that helps.

Defenitly chi you can use it and it wont leave a hair out of place. I've tried both and I have wavy hair the one that worked for me best was defenitly the CHI...GOOD LUCK!
