i consider myself to be the hair straightening expert. I dont even use a mirror anymore. I use ghds and i think that they are the best brand.

Firstly section your hair. Use hair sectioners or just use a band and tie your hair at the top of your head, and just let it out section by section.

Use a comb- makesure its not a wide toothed one. Run it along your hair whilst you straighten, not after you put the straighteners on your hair as this will make your hair static. Comb through your hair, and for every swipe you take, run your hair straighteners down your hair simultaneously. This way you'll have the smoothest, straightest hair.

Then bring down another section and do the same. As you're doing this with the next section the lower section will also be making contact with your straightener again, ensuring that its perfectly straight.

Sorry, i didnt word it very well, but i hop eyou know what i mean.

It looks alot better if you have a friend help you with straightening the back. As for the wet2dry thing I'm pretty sure you can use it on dry hair but if you still have the instruction booklet i would highly recommend reading that,

I HAD that same problem but I have a vanity and a closet door with a mirror on it and i put them by each other so that I could see the back of my head. It works really well.

i dont recommend the wet2dry straightener. it tends to make your hair thin and very lack-luster. to get the back of your hair straight, try puting a large section of hair in a pony tail. that way, you can focus on a smaller portion of hair and you can get it really straight that way. hope i helped

I use a CHI straightener they are the best, I put hair up half way and straighten it by sections then when you are done do the back in sections start from the top of your head and then as you go just flip the section that you straightened in front of your face and work your way half way down as far as your arms let you and repeat this. Hope it works for you it works for me

My best friend is a pro hairdresser. What really helps with hair straightening (and also protects your hair) is heat protectant spray........ it helps majorly!!!!! OK, to help with your problem........ if you are really devoted to your hair, buy the best hair straightener you can. CHI is the bomb! it may take a bite out of your wallet but its worth it. CHI straighteners get hotter as you squeeze it harder so be sure to use CHI protectant spray. You can get the products on line or at your hairdressers salon. To straighten the back of your hair, either sit in a chair with a mirror in front of you and look behind you into another mirror or pull your hair around your shoulder and straighten your hair. My last suggestion is that you get a haircut which lowers the volume in the back of your head. Actually, if it is pulling out your hair, your hair is very unhealthy and you need to see your hairdresser. This may sound a little gross........... But when it is straight and stiff then that means you are burning your hair........ YOU NEED HAIR PROTECTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no problem!

Straighten your hair in sections. First get all of you hair except the bottom layer %26amp; put it on top of your head %26amp; secure it with a clip. Then after that let that all fall down %26amp; get another layer about 1-2 inches thick. After you are done get another mirror %26amp; look at the back of your head %26amp; see if you missed any hair. I can do mine in about 4 layers %26amp; its done in about 20 min %26amp; My hair is super straight! I hope that this helps! Good Luck:)
