Good quality Hair Straitener?

My hair isn't even that wavy, not to mention curly, but at the bottom it's just really poofy and frizzy and I hate it. I have a hair straitener and it's a Revlon, and it works for the first five mintues, but then after just an hour or even less my hair goes back to being the same, and my hair striaghtener didn't even straiten it that well in the first place. Well, I'm just asking what is a really really good wuality hair straightener that WORKS? I have a lot of people in my grade that have extremely curly hair and they manage to make it stick straight, and I have barely wavy hair, and mine can't even do that? Help :-/

try getting a straightener with a built-in brush. thats mine, i have super thick and wavy hair, and i just get the CVS brand and it works like magic.

Use a thermal spray that not only protects you hair from exterme heat but it will also help your hair stay straight. If your ends are frizzy that is usually a sign that they are in bad shpe keep them trimmed. Hot Tools has really good ceramic irons, and so does Chi

Okay first off.... stay away from the cheap stuff like Revlon or conair... It dosent work. You should try something more along the lines of a ceramic series, by Helen of Troy. I paid about 40$. But Im about to upgrade to an FHI or a CHI because those are used in salons and work great!

If you're willing to spend money for THE perfect hair straightener , try Chi straighteners. They are top-of-the-line and you can get one for around $100. I would recomend this because its a one time payment and it lasts longer. It's better than buying straighteners over and over again because the past ones are horrible or broken. It's quite powerful- the straight hair lasts much much longer than any other. However, since you said your hair is fairly straight already you could try Conair's Infiniti for $35 at Costco. I have a curlmaster ceramic and it works great,I got it for about 50$, and maybe use a product in your hair be for straightening it that will help with frizz.

Okay, if you're going to invest in a straightener, make sure it's good quality. Cheap straighteners can damage your hair. Buying from a salon or beauty outlet is best.. try to make sure it goes past 200 degrees as well.

Chi and Baybliss make very good straighteners.

You also may want to use some kind of heat protection, you can find it at any pharmacy, walmart, wherever.

Joico, Citre Shine, AG, Pantene etc. smoothing lotions or liquid varnish works WONDERS on poofyness or frizzies, you should check it out.
