the only straightner that gets your hair straight and doesnt get affected by humidity is the Hot Ceramic Pro, and i KNOW because my cousin has one... she is a bit spoiled... and that is hard to get, and how i know is that we tried my regular straighter of one side of our hair, and her PRO on the other. and, well, the normal side frizzed, and the other side didnt

your definetly using the wrong straightner because mine keeps my hair straight all day unless it rains. Buy a chi straightener or any straightner that is "ceramic". These straightners cost somtimes over 100 dollars, but they can last for years and give you very good results. Go to the mall and go to a special store such as trade secret(anystore that does hair or makup has them). If your hair doens't go as straight as you want it to with the straightner (if your hairs really curly) then when you get out of the shower blow dry your hair straight beforhand. You do this by taking a brush(with steel) and taking a peice of hair and pressing it towards the blowdryer with the brush then slowly moving downwards until that strand is dry.(Should take 4-5 strokes to become completely dry) It's not as hard as it seems. It only takes me 15 minutes to blow dry my hair straight then 10 or 5 minutes afterwards to straighten it. Don't straighten hair to much or you'll fry it.
