Which Hair straightner is best for dry hair???

I have dry hairs till shoulder.

They are OK when i wash them but even in hours they become very dry and just don't look good if I open them.

I thought to use a hair straightener but I don't know which one i should buy which will suit my hair. I don't want to damage my hair so I would rather go for a good straightener.

Also. tell me which hair product I should use before or after using the hair straightener?

Any help would be great for a novice.

CHI is by far the best straightener out there! There are many that claim to be like it, but there is nothing like a CHI! You can use CHI Silk Infusion to help with your hairs dry condition. Before you use the flat iron use about a dime size (less if you have thin hair) in your hair. It's best to comb it through your hair with your fingers. Try not to put it on your scalp. Your hair will look oily if you do. Also try using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps!

The best thing to do is to deep condition for 2 weeks, and then use a straightener. Even better would be for a month - once ever week. If you have healthy hair then the straghtening won't dammage it as much.

A very good product for dry hair is Redken All Soft. I used to have hair that very closely resembled straw, and after using it for only a month or so it was shiny and soft.

i have really dry, damaged hair too and the straightners i use are kodo. they arnt a very well known name but you can get them off ebay and they work extremely well with dry hair. i use them every day and they are perfect for me. the treatment i use is a vo5 repair treatment, which i leave in for 2 minutes and then rinse. it repairs my hair really well. also i would reccommend you to use hair serum when you get out of the shower. hope i helped x

the chi is the best, but they're pretty pricy. but not only are they the least damaging i've come across, they hold the style the best. your hair wont curl or get frizzy again until it gets wet.. blow dry it first, then use a product that smoothes and protects hair from heat damage.(i use redken's smooth down) i put on after blowdrying but before straightening, then, if i feel i need it, i'll smooth a tiny bit more over the finished style.

before you do it, do a patch test to a few strands of hair at the nap of your head first and see what happens.
