How can I get my hair to be pin straight, using a hair straightener? What products should I use. I have short thick curly hair.

my sister has the same type of hair, and the best straightner i've heard of so far is either the Chi straighner or the Tigi one. They're both professional ones and cost 100 dollars or more each, but if your hair is thick and curly then it would probaly be best to buy one that would last you longer and work better on you. To keep your hair healthy though (becuase those things burn your hair like crazy!), I would recommened putting a handful of the L'Oreal Paris striaghtning cream. It's formulated to work with like your blow dryer or striaghnter, and it gives your hair a protective layer. also, its only like 6 bucks at a store.

the best thing you can do is just buy a good starightner (solia,sedu,ach are all good brands) and mayby some straight ahead conditionar and shampooo by john friedda.
