For Over 15 Seconds %26amp; I Still Dont See Waves Or Crimps In My Hair %26amp; The Flat Iron Is Very Hot..I Don't Know What I Am Doing Wrong Please HELP!!.

im one of those people who always hav to hold irons in my hair for about 20 seconds. If you are asian. african-american, or just hav hard to... style hair, it helps if you hold it in a while longer. try wash and curl shampoo. it technically is for curls, but i believe waves count too. it protects you hair from the heat and also makes it easier to style. also try leave in conditioner or a flat-iron creme. i personally like leave-in conditioner. it doesnt "protect" you hair, but it keeps it soft and retains moisture. if you want to use flat iron creme, rather than applying creme, iron, just scrunch it all into your hair and then iron. also try moving thorugh you hair slower for the heat to penetrate..

it will work best if you put hairspray in your hair so it will hold it.

I used to have a straightner like this it was conair, $20

the hair irons that have more than 1 purpose normally dont work as good as just the 1 purpose iron ,it may be because of the circuts or just different metals.i say to get a 1 purpose iron. but since the straightner one works get a curler!
