Does anyone else have this hair straightener: BaByliss PRO TT?

I have it and it doesn't do a very good job. My hair is thick, coarse, frizzy and wavy. It takes me a long time to stiraghten my hair because of it's thickness but this straightener sure doesn't help cut time. It also doesn't do a very good job straightening. I have had my hair straightened at salons and it HAS come out excellently so it's not that my hair can't be tamed, it's just the straightener. My question to you is: Do you have this straightener and does it work for you? If you don't, what are some recommendations for a better straightener I could buy? I was thinking CHI...

Deff get the CHI, i have 1 and it works like a charm. My hair is curly and frizzy, and it makes my hair straight and silky. It was 100 dollars, but well worth the price,

well...i apparently have hair JUST like yours!!! my hair is naturally very curly, its frizzy and its VERY thick...ugh...i tried straightening my hair but it never works cuz of my hair type..but the straightenr that i received for my birthday years ago is the chi and it is the bst straightener EVER invented...i get perfect straight results..its absolutely perfect....no other straightener works on my hair except the chi..and in salons they use the chi so that would expalin the perfect ressults... :D once you use the chi there is no going back!! one salon that has a full stock is regis hair salons...and they sell it for about 150 dollars!! haha

im my salon we use the 1 inch infra shine iron by unell... its works great and i have one at home aswell. i have had mine for 4 years and it still works great and is very durable. i have tons of hair and it only takes me 10-15 to get it all straight. also you could try GHB irons. they both work !!!!!!!!

I have a Chi, I use it about every other day with no problems, it has even been dropped a couple times and I have had it for about 6 months, they come with a year warranty and if it breaks within a year, you bring it back to the salon and they replace it as long as you keep the receipt. Therefore if you choose to buy a chi get it from a salon, not ebay, so you will have the warranty.

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Worst: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.
