Straightening hair...?

I use a hair straightener because I have very wavy hair. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to last long. Can anybody recommend some inexpensive products that straighten one's hair and/or some other tips? Thanks!

for really wavy hair, i would recommend a straightening cream or gel to be used along with the straightening iron. l'oreal "studio line" hair care and alberto V05 both have reasonably priced versions of these products. ceramic straightening irons also work best, i don't know what kind of straightening iron you've been using.

go to a shop or a hair specialist. I lost a whole glob of hair straightening at home... and it was horrible. Seek the professional unless you want bald spots!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well the answer to your question is your not using the right kind of straightener you should be using a ceramic heating plate. You can perches one at you beauty supply or hair salon and the best products to use on your hair are going to be pricey, but you want that for you hair so that you don't damage it with the heat of the iron,I no this because i am a color specialist at a beauty salon
