I have a normal hair straightener and I love it. But I don't always get it to be "straight" for even a whole day, not even 2 days!

If you want silky hair just use a deep conditioning treatment in your hair it makes it soft as heck lol.

The only way to get your hair straight is to straighten it. My guess is that you have wavy hair and if that's the case you have to be really patient with it and take lots of time straightening each strand. Just don't hold your straightener on your hair for more than 10 seconds it will damage your hair.
