okay seriously im sick n tired of my ugly puffy thick hair i want it to be straight but my mom wont let me permanently straighten my hair and my hair straightener is all screwed up and i cant return it i dunno how to make my hair straight. Do any of u hav an idea on how to make my hair straight besides permanently or buying a new hair straightener like perhapes a cream or shampoo or somethin... anything??

try using a shampoo that smoothens and straightens hair.

im not sure if you have the same brands as me (im in Aus) but i use either panteen or garnier.

also maybe you can layer your hair to get rid of its puffyness.

you can also blow dry your hair, but i wouldn't suggest doing that often, as it dries and ruins your hair!

Have you tried putting conditioner in your hair and then while you're drying your hair brushing out your hair SLOWLY so that your hair doesn't FALL OUT... XP Whenever my hair becomes puffy and staticky, I just become soo frustrated, because I'm a swimmer (as you can tell from the name :D), and the chlorine gets into my hair, making it sort of blond... Then my hair gets TOO thin, so I wash my hair, put conditioner in it, wash it out, then brush my hair slowly so that my hair doesn't go all AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!11 again...

Get a flatiron from a beauty supply. (make sure it has felt/velvet some kind of fabric pads). Use that, I've seen it work...take small sections and do them slow, one at a time. underneath first.

Don't put anything in your hair (styling aids, wise). Shampoo, blow dry and use Remington's wet to straight straightener available at Wal Mart for $28.00. Heat runs up to 300 something celcius. It gave me second degree burns (blistering %26amp; such) when I accidentally touch the plate instead of the handle. Lol, but that's another story. Point is that it gets super hot enough to straighten even super curly hair. Plus, it's been getting good reviews.

I got my hair permanently straightened about 3 years ago. Hell, process took forever and burned my scalp. But I have to say it was worth it. JCPenney charges $300 for it. But I got mine done in Asia for about $25.00. Lasted for about a year.
