Ok, I got the new Bed Head light me uo hair straightener!

I have very curly hair, today I used it for the first time, but my hair didn't got as straight as I thought it was going to get!

The straightener hasdifferent TEMPERATURES that go from 175 to 400, but I used it in 225, should I use it in the TEMPERATURE 400!!???

So that I don't fry my hair to a crisp, I always spray or rub on a product specifically for use with styling tools. My daughter loves Clairol's "Dangerously Straight Iron Me Flat Finishing Spray". Also, if you use a product like Bed Head's After Party or one of their other leave-in products for straight hair, your hair will stay straight after you've spent all that time on it!

you could try using a product with it to protect your hair and help it keep the straight texture longer, and yea, if you have thick hair thats curly you deff want it hotter than 225, prolly like 350 or maybe 400, try 325 next and use some flat out finishing spray from herbal essences when your done to hold the look longer

Yes, if you have really curly hair. The BedHead stylers really don't get as hot as they say, but make sure you use a heat protecting spray, and maybe try blowing it out with a round brush and blow dryer first.

You should try the strightener in the hottest temp. but in a place that wont be noticable. Also use a strightening creme and a creme that will help with frizz:)

well first of all you need to wash your hair and condition it very heavy and let it air dry while you are brushing it use sunsilk 24/7 creme and then after it drys you use the temp you were using and slowly pull it down your hair it will get straight but it takes a while and a few times going over it to make it straight...I have to do this everyday to my stepdaughters

you could turn it to about 275?! if ur hair is really curly, try to straighten it more than once that should help. you could also hold it in one spot for longer. Ive never tried it but it might work!

I don't think you should go all the way up to 400, it will damage your hair. Maybe go 275. Maybe try using some straightning hair spray. You spray it on just before you straighten that piece or hair. Straighten your hair in little pieces and remember to do the bottem layers of your hair. Just spend some more time straightening it and it should work out!

I used to have the same problem,but try this technique.First of all dont put it all the up to 400 your hair will fry and get damaged. Although you can put it up a little higher. When you straighten leave a small layer of hair down and pull the rest up [big clips work best for this]. Once your done with that layer let a little more down and keep doing this. Once you are done spray with a straightening spray or cream to hold your hair.
